CISCO KID ....... made up of the Bay Areas top musicians led by Recording Artist Drummer/ Vocalist "Joey Jam" Flores, who's band members, including him, have played with The Temptations, Joe Luis Walker, Smash Mouth, Edwin Star, Al Green just to name a few will be taking you down memory lane with all the TOP HITS of the Legendary Band WAR/LOWRIDER...... such as Me and My Baby Brother, Why Can't We Be Friends, Cinco de Mayo, Don't Let Know One Get You Down, Lowrider and of course CISCO KID.
When you name legendary bands out of California and the Bay Area names like Santana, Journey, Tower of Power, Malo and Tierra come up... and WAR/LOWRIDER is definitely in that group!!!

Tortilla Soup

Based in San Jose, CA Tortilla Soup was founded in 2003 by Trumpet Player Robert Payne. One thing for sure the talent and experience of each and every member of Tortilla Soup is amazing. From the beginning days of Tortilla Soup the talent of musicianship started at a high level where half of the members had toured and played with Tower of Power and the other half had played with MALO. Tortilla Soup is now a 9 piece band that includes a three piece horn section that plays a variety of music from the 1960's to the present with an emphasis on groups such as Tower of Power, Tierra, Malo, Santana, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, The Gap band and Michael Jackson just to name a few. It is amazing that even though Tortilla Soup is a cover band we have been called several times to share the stage and open up for top musical legends in the HISTORY OF MUSIC !! such as Little Joe y La Familia, The Texas Tornados, Malo, Tierra, El Chicano, Thee Midniters, Sunny Ozuna, Rene Rene, Joe Bataan, Pete Escovedo, Confunkshun, Club Nouveau, Barbara Lewis, Deniece Williams, Zapp, Rose Royce, Evelyn Champagne King, The Delfonics, Lenny Williams We give all praise and glory to our creator for the blessing to live our dream as musicians and artist. Tortilla Soup averages over 50 performances a year from San Francisco to Sacramento and San Jose to Los Angeles.
